Baby Bug
Back by popular demand; Baby Bug: Using your Cricut with Cara Miller. If you missed it the first time we are re-offering this course in July. Here is what some of the students from the first course had to say:
  • I thoroughly enjoyed this course as I was totally new to the cricut. Thanks Cara for giving such detailed descriptions for each section as long as pictures as well!
  • The instructor, Cara, was wonderfully responsive and very helpful. She provided printable instructions for downloading, which was fabulous. I really enjoyed this course (my first MCC course) and found it a very positive experience. I'm so glad to have gotten to know my Cricut and look forward to many more layouts with it. Thanks Cara and MCC!
Course Start Date: July 7th

While we will not be offer a full schedule of courses this summer, we will be offering several Cricut courses. Cara's first two Cricut courses have been a huge success. Both the Baby Bug and Expression courses will be offered again this summer. Today we have opened enrollment for a new course; Design Studio with Cara Miller. The best part about this course is that you can complete the entire course using the free trial from Cricut.

See You on the Flip Side
by Jeri Parks, MCC Founder - Tuesday, 19 May 2009, 12:28 PM

As the spring semester comes to a close, My Creative Classroom is looking towards the future. I am sure many of you are looking forward to summer activities and vacations. Personally I cannot wait for the pool to open.

After much contemplation MCC has decided to take the summer semester off. The time away will allow our instructors to work on new courses and allow me to make several website updates. From the beginning I was uncertain if we would run a summer semesters, thinking it might be best to take a break. Several events in my personal life have required that I take time this summer for my family.

That does not mean you won't hear from us at all this summer. We have two new projects planned for Everyday Moodlings, well actually one new project and we will revisit an old project. I have had several request to repeat the artist background project, so watch for it this summer.

Cara Miller has also requested to offer several die cut machine courses this summer. They have been a huge success so far, so if you missed them the first time around you will be able to join the fun later this summer.

We have already started to piece together a fall schedule and I think it will be a great semester. The MCC Faculty and I want to thank each of you for a wonderful spring semester and we cannot wait to start again on the flip side of summer.

See you in the classroom,
Jeri Parks, MCC Founder
