Silhouette: Off the Page - Extended Enrollment

This course is all about all the other wonderful things your Silhouette can do besides pages and cards. It's your own home decor and gift giving Fairy Godmother!!! You'll need to know how to use your Silhouette so if you've taken Silhouette 101, you're ready for "Off the Page".

Back at CHA earlier this year I pitched this idea to the folks at Silhouette-they loved it! Though they thought it was Silhouette Off the Wall, like it was some insane over the top type of class that it was so "off the wall, dude"...anyways, apart from the confusion over the name (hehe), they loved the idea because they want you to get the MOST out of your Silhouette. And that's my goal too.

We'll alter tins, do glass etching, and even cut some fabric to alter clothes and more!! And with all the custom wonderful gifts and items you'll be creating you will be the envy of everyone, including yourself!

  • Lesson One: What can it do again? The Silhouette can cut much more than paper. We're going to go over the media types it can cut, how to cut them, and make an easy project using vinyl.
  • Lesson Two: Vinyl Intensity: We'll cut vinyl for the wall, multi-color vinyl decorations, altered tins, labels for glass jars, and do a little glass etching!
  • Lesson Three: Fabric, Iron-ons, and Clothing, Oh My! We'll create several altered projects featuring clothing and more using Silhouette Iron-On transfer material and fabric interfacing.
  • Lesson Four: Back to Paper - Boxes, Bags, and Envies! We'll use paper to create unique gift and craft projects using the Silhouette. No layouts and cards though!!

Please Note: This class will include information for the new Silhouette Cameo as well as previous Silhouette machines. Some basic information will be repeated from the Silhouette 101 and Silhouette Cameo classes.
