Cricut: Let's Make Our Own SMASH Books- Extended Enrollment

You have seen these advertisements for the hottest new craze, Smash Books: "SMASH Journals: These new scrapbook journals are designed to hold all the things that make you smile - tickets, photos, clippings and more. With a collection of SMASH scrapbooking accessories, recording everyday life events has never been more fun!"

They are so hot, they are always sold out! Now we can create our own and make the theme fit our lives and our stories. This class will show you how to start with simple composition books and turn them into amazing memory collections using any Cricut machine and most any Cricut cartridge! We'll create a total of four notebooks in class: two large (approx 8" x 10") and two small (approx. 4.5" x 3.5").
  • Lesson One: Basic Smash Book assembly- Composition Book to Smash Book
  • Lesson Two: Must haves for all Smash Books and how to cut them
  • Lesson Three: Using your cartridges for themed books and sizing of die cuts (I will be creating a Cruise Book using "Life is a Beach" and a mini Recipe Smash Book using "From My Kitchen")
  • Lesson Four: Adding Phoof to your Smash Book

Cartridges: You are going to want to use a cartridge that offers you tabs, clips, folders, etc. Looking for ideas? Try My Cut Search and type in clip, tag, etc. Some of my favorites cartridges to use are: "Fabulous Finds", "From My Kitchen", "Graphically Speaking", "Art Philosophy" and "Simply Sweet".

Extended Enrollment classrooms include all course materials and are available only after enrollment in instructor-led classes. This classroom contains no message boards, student gallery or teacher communication.
