Mail Art (Apr. 1) - Mandy Collins
(Mail Art)
Mail Art is one of my favourite creative styles, combining travel, colour, adventure and catching up with friends, what could be better!
Mail Art has been around in different formats for a long time and making a comeback against the modern instant communication options that might be fast but sure are plain.
Like all my classes there are lots of techniques to learn and try. We are working on post card sized shapes so you can quickly build a creative collection. I am building my collection for a mantle display and as a bonus, there will be an extra colour on texture lesson each week. I will be practicing these combinations on stamped images of large maple leaves. A nice filler between the postcards and envelopes.
