Baby Bug Cricut 101...for original Cricut owners
The Basic Cricut is such a powerful tool but is a bit overwhelming to make it do everything it can. This class will help you get comfortable with your Original Cricut, your Baby Bug, and you will be both by flying by the end! All the projects and instructions in this class will work with the GEORGE cartridge that came with your machine. You will learn to create scrapbook layouts as well as cards with your BUG!
Are you the lucky owner of a Create? This is the class for you! Add on lessons will cover the added features of the terrific Create. The projects will use the Don Juan cartridge.
Inside the classroom you will find: step by step instructions to help you get your Cricut up and running, student forums to interact with fellow students and instructor and a student gallery to share projects.

Expression 2 will offer 7 different projects to challenge the experienced Expression user.We will put this awesome tool through its paces. Students will be encouraged to substitute cartridges if designs were created with a cartridge they do not have.Projects we'll explore: layouts and matting, cards and envelopes and layering and shadowing.
You will want to practice class projects on cardstock and patterned paper from your stash.You can choose just the right papers to create your final projects when you are ready.

This 4-week course will take you from "Huh???!! and Confused" to "Designer on the GO" with your new Gypsy! We will go step-by-step through updates and gadgets and buttons and screens all the while getting comfortable with the menus, techniques and tools. We will design 4 projects and learn how to save them as well as cut them on your Original Cricut or Expression.

Sure Cuts A Lot 101
Want to step up your inner designer with your Cricut machine? Want to cut True Type fonts from your computer? "Sure Cuts A Lot" is the new software that lets you do just that.In this 4-week course we will explore the ins and outs of this software and complete 4 projects that put "Sure Cuts A Lot" through its paces.
Sure Cuts A Lot website describes "SCAL" as: "an easy to use software to cut your True Type fonts, SVG files, images, and various shapes on your CricutTM Machine. Works with your installed True Type fonts on your computer. Available for Windows and Macintosh." This class will use the latest version 2.0.

If you are not sure if this software is really for you, you can take this class using thefree trial softwareoffered through the website linked above. The trial software will allow you to design, but it will leave a watermark, often cutting off parts of your design. You can always upgrade to a full version and then cut your designs...once you fall in love!
PLEASE NOTE: Provo Craft does not approve this software and its use may void your warranty. Now I am not sure how it could hurt your Cricut as the software is loaded onto your computer, but...and this is big: "Sure Cuts A Lot" is not a Cricut-approved software and Provo Craft will not honor the warranty on your Cricut should you need support and they are aware that you were using this software. If your Cricut is no longer covered by warranty, no problem. Actually, I am not aware of anyone having a problem with their Cricut after using "Sure Cuts A Lot" software.
