Explain how your classes work.

All of our classes are hosted online. Generally speaking the instructor will post new course content once a week until the course is complete. Most of our courses run 4 to 8 weeks. You then have the entire week to enter the classroom, review the materials and complete your assignments. Previous course content remains available as you move from week to week. You will have at least two additional weeks at the end of the course to access all of the course information and interact with the instructor.

The classroom materials include printable/downloadable PDF tutorials and slideshow presentations. Some classrooms also contain video demonstrations. Forums and a student gallery are available inside each classroom so you can interact with the instructor and fellow students.

How do I create a new user account?

Creating a new user account is an easy, two-step process. Step One: On the My Creative Classroom home page click Create New Account link in the log on box. Complete the registration form and Create My New Account.

Step Two: You will receive an email to verify your account. If for some reason you do not receive an email please contact us at support.mcc@gmail.com and we will confirm your account manually. Once you have confirmed you account you can log on and start registering for classes.

How do I edit my profile?

Here are the steps to editing your profile:

  1. Log on to the My Creative Classroom website.
  2. Click on your name in the upper, right-hand corner of the screen.
  3. Click the Edit Profile tab.
  4. Make necessary changes. NOTE: You will be required to add something to the description box to save the changes. This could be as simple as adding your name.
  5. Click Update Profile.

How do I enroll in a course?

Before you can enroll in any MCC course, including free courses, you must be a registered user of our site. To enroll in a course, please follow these steps:

  1. Log on or create a new user account.
  2. Click on the title of the course you wish to enroll in.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on the Paypal button.
  4. Follow the prompts to pay for the course.
  5. Once the payment has processed you will see a link to enter the classroom.
  6. Each time you log on you will see the course listed on your personal home page. Click on the title of the course to enter the classroom.

Do I need a Paypal account to pay for a course?

No, we use Paypal to process our payments. When you click on the Paypal button you will see two payment options. One to pay via your Paypal account and a second option to pay via credit card.

Do I have to be online when the course begins?

No, once you have registered for a course you are free to come and go whenever you want. Come every day, or come only one day. Take as long as you need during the specified duration of the class.

Can I enroll in a course even if it has already started?

Absolutely! As long as the course is visible in the list of Course Categories and has not been closed by the Instructor, you are still able to register for the course. Generally speaking each course remains open for enrollment one week after the start date. If you are in doubt about a certain course or a course is closed, don’t hesitate to contact the Instructor via email and they will let you know if you are able to enroll in the course or if the course will be offered again at a later time.

What if I don't finish the course on time? How long do I have access to the materials?

Most courses offered by My Creative Classroom allow the students to have access to the teacher-lead classroom for an additional two weeks after the course has been completed. Once the teacher-lead classroom has been closed you will be moved to an extended enrollment classroom where you will continue to have access to course materials.

I cannot see the PDFs in some courses? What can I do?

If you are unable to download PDF’s ...please follow these simple steps:

  1. Log out of the site and log back in. Clear your cache or cookies and go to step #2.

  2. Make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Reader. (Click on the link for your free download.) You can also find this link on our home page.

  3. Remove any pop up blocker security for the My Creative Classroom Site. Some instructors set their PDF’s to show up in a new screen and if you have a pop up blocker it will not allow this.

  4. If you have followed ALL of the preceding steps and you still can't see the PDF files, please post a new thread on the help forum inside the classroom or email us at support.mcc@gmail.com. If you are getting a specific error message, please include that in your communication so we can better assist you.

I can watch the videos in some courses, but not in others. What am I doing wrong?

As you all know, technology can be a bit goofy sometimes. If you are unable to see the videos in a particular class ...please follow these five simple steps:

  1. Make sure you have the latest version of QuickTime Video and/or Flash (Click on the links for your free downloads.) You can also find these links on our home page.

  2. Remove any pop up blocker security for the My Creative Classroom Site. Some instructors set their videos to be viewed in a new screen and if you have a pop up blocker it will not allow the video to run.

  3. If you are using Internet Explorer as your web browser, you may be having trouble viewing some videos. We suggest that students use Firefox as their web browser when viewing classes at My Creative Classroom.

  4. If you have followed ALL of the preceding steps and you still can't see the videos, please post a new thread on the help forum inside the classroom or email us at support.mcc@gmail.com. If you are getting a specific error message, please include that in your communication so we can better assist you.

  5. Please remember that your computer and internet connection also effect your ability to view video presentations. While the vast majority of students can view our presentations with little or no problems we cannot guarantee that everyone will be able to access the videos. That is why each teacher also makes the information available in PDF format.
